Located in a peaceful valley on the banks of the river Esk in Scotland, Kagyu Samye Ling was the first Tibetan Buddhist Centre to have been established in the West.  It is a centre for wisdom and learning within the Karma Kagyu tradition of Tibetan Buddhism and is open to people of all faiths and none.  You are welcome to come for day visits, short stays or to participate in our meditation retreats and courses available throughout the year. There are just a few days left before the petition to the Scottish Parliament closes.The petition asks for legislation to be created to protect places of religious importance and spiritual significance by way of an exclusion zone. More than 7,500 people have shown their support for this move and have asked the Scottish Parliament to protect places of peace from gunfire.We've received such tremendous support from all around the world and we now have the opportunity to demonstrate to the Scottish Parliament the strength of feeling on this issue. So visit the petition to find out more, sign it and share it with your friends, too.  Time is short - we only have until 23 June to ask the Scottish Parliament to protect our peace, and that of all places of spiritual importance in Scotland.https://petitions.parliament.scot/petitions/PE1874THANK YOU!
