Choje Akong Tulku Rinpoche 49-day Prayer Schedule in Kagyu Samye Ling

21 Oct 2013
9th to 24th October - Dorje Pagmo
25th to 31st October - Korlo Demchok
1st to 7th November - Gyalwa Gyamtso
8th to 29th November - Milarepa Guru Yoga

Everyone is welcome to come at any time to join in the prayers.

Drupon Rinpoche will preside until 30th October.

We especially recommend those not familiar with the three Yidam practices to come while Milarepa Guru Yoga is being done. We hope that for the last week of prayers everyone who feels connected with Choje Akong Tulku Rinpoche will try to come.

Anyone who doesn’t have permission to do the actual sadhana practice can contribute by reciting ‘Je Mila Shepa Dorje la Solwandepso’ (Lord, Milarepa, Laughing Vajra, we supplicate you) OR by reciting one of the mantras Chamgon Khenting Tai Situpa has advised:

  • Om mani peme hung
  • Om ah hung benza guru pema siddhi hung
  • Om ami dewa hrih
  • Om benza satto hung

We have to collect 100 million of each of these mantras!

The Buddhist principle is to be everybody's friend, not to have any enemy.
