Brion Sweeney

Brion is a retired consultant psychiatrist and holds a masters degree in psychotherapy. In the later years of his career he specialised in addiction psychiatry.

He is a Tara Rokpa Therapist, trained by Akong Rinpoche to present Taming the Tiger and Tara Rokpa Therapy.

Brion has been a Buddhist since first meeting Akong Rinpoche in 1981 and in the recent past completed a three year solitary retreat. 

He has since resumed his work with Tara Tokpa Therapy and currently lives in Dublin.
