Tuula has been working as a body therapist , masseur, lecturer, coach and trainer with a broad range of treatment clients and groups over 32 years. She has been working in numerous projects of bodywork, relaxation, sports training and well-being. She has always been enthusiastic to understand more and more about nature, human life and especially about respectful interaction between people.

Her work has been used in designing health education courses in elementary schools, as wellbeing courses and workshops in various organizations as well as a coaching process for social and health care professionals.

This experience and extensive networking has led her to engage in research, development and service design activities in the field of well-being, as well as in trust activities.

From 2010 Tuula has been involved in hospice work, designing a gentle, supportive massage style for hospice clients and family members. At present she is co-writing the Touch and Hospice care�book about these experiences.

Tuula has been through the Tara Rokpa therapy process and has studied the method since 1998 and is now a graduating Tara Rokpa Therapist. She has qualifications in massage therapy, as a Shiatsu Therapist, a specialist qualification in leadership and she has trained as a Firstbeat Lifestyle Assessment Coach. She has studied extensively all her life: Sports medicine, Philosophy, Cultural anthropology, Ethics and several courses in Open University and in art and handicraft skills.
