Sarah Wass & Cat McCaw
My background is in mental health within the NHS and I now work for a charity delivering mindfulness and compassion based groups to communities in Fife and Tayside. After finishing mindfulness training, I became part of a Tara Ropka group.
Not sure what I was signing up for I soon realised that I had found something invaluable . The relaxation seems to allow for a natural expression and expansion, an opening to the world .
I am still a group participant in the Tara Ropka process and have recently trained to deliver some of the Healing Relaxation practices. I am grateful to have this connection with Akong Rinpoche through this work.
Sarah Wass
I have a background working as an art therapist in public sector provision in the UK and have been involved in Tara Rokpa since 2004.
I started first as a group participant, and then trained to be a Tara Rokpa therapist. I now offer workshops at home and abroad.
The methods and practices of Tara Rokpa continue in my life, with their insistence that i don’t rest in my limitations. I am instead drawn to reside more fully in all my human potential.
I was very fortunate to receive guidance from Akong Rinpoche during his life.
